<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balanced game machine with which profits are provided to both a player and a game parlor. <P>SOLUTION: In the game machine capable of imparting game value of a prescribed number to the player in response to prize winning of a game ball in a prize winning hole arranged on a game board, the prize winning hole includes a variable prize winning means 15 changeable into an open state wherein the game ball can enter the hole and a closed state wherein the game ball cannot enter or hardly enters the hole, and a control means is provided for changing an opening time to maintain the open state of the variable prize winning means 15 into a second time extended rather than a first time on the condition that predetermined conditions are established.
