<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dial that greatly reduces the number of components and can be miniaturized and thinned, and has a new external form, and to provide a display for vehicles using the dial. <P>SOLUTION: A light guide plate is integrated with the dial 14. At least, a turning region in a pointer 16 along a design 14a for analog display on the dial 14 is transparent. Additionally, the pointer 16 is arranged at the rear side of the dial 14, thus eliminating the need for manufacturing the dial, the light guide plate, and a diffusion plate in separate bodies.
