PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CDMA communication system which mixedly accommodates multi-carrier terminals and single carrier terminals in a radio communication system for performing packet communications by radio communications. SOLUTION: The communication system has a base station 20 and at least either a radio communication terminal (C or G) for performing packet communications with the base station, using at least one carrier, or radio communication terminals (A and B) for performing packet communications with the base station, using a plurality of carriers simultaneously. The base station 20 comprises a means 27 for giving allocating information commonly used for the plurality of carriers in allocating the carrier to a specified radio communication terminal 10, and a memory means 28 for storing the allocating information.
