PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a threader for simplifying the whole structure, and improving convenience in use by eliminating or reducing the necessity of arranging a plurality of threading mechanisms for the purpose of coping with needles of various small and large sizes. SOLUTION: This threader A has a needle support part 4 for supporting a needle 8 in a constant attitude and a pusher 2 for allowing operation for advancing toward the needle support part 4 from a position separate from the needle support part 4 and operation for retreating in the opposite direction of this operation so that thread T can be pushed in a hole 80 of the needle 8. The pusher 2 can be displaced in the lengthwise direction of the needle 8 when abutting against the needle 8 at advancing time. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
