PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a serviceability by facilitating the attaching and detaching operation of an exterior panel in the exterior structure of the exterior body of a hot water boiler having the detachable exterior panel. SOLUTION: In this exterior structure, one side face of the box-like exterior body 1 having a bottom plate 2 is formed in an opening part 15, and the exterior panel 3 is detachably installed so as to cover the opening part 15. An exterior panel mounting fixing metal fitting 24 is fitted onto the bottom plate 2. The fixing metal fitting 24 comprises a lower fixing part 26 fixed to the bottom plate 2, a hooking means hooked to the side plates 4A and 4B of the exterior body 1, and panel mounting parts 28a and 28b for fixing the exterior panel 3 to the upper part of the exterior body.
