PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correspond even to both straight connection and right angled connection when two fences are connected. SOLUTION: A mounting device for furring strips and a support in a fence has the support 1 which has a hollow square-shaped cross section and in which a longitudinal notch 3 is formed at the end of a side wall abutted at the end of a furring strip 6 of a fence body 2, a support cap 22 which closes the opening end of the support and in which shaft bodies 24a, 24b and 24c are projected vertically from the cap body, and a joint member in which a fitting section fitted to the furring strip is formed on one side and a chevron-shaped head 12 penetrating approximately the center of the cap 22 on the other side and a through-hole 14 penetrating in the vertical direction is formed in the head while an engaging groove 13 engaged with the notch is formed between the fitting section and the head.
