PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively obtain a packaging apparatus for manually supplying a packaged object from a supply port to a package processing mechanism in a safely operable manner. SOLUTION: When a start switch 50 is operated, a control means executes package control. The control means first moves a sheet take-out mechanism 35 for taking a packaging sheet 1 out of a packaging sheet storage section 71 from a waiting position to a covering position for covering the supply port 2a.
