PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a goldfish catching apparatus in which an event manager is not required to monitor whether a player performs fair play all the time. SOLUTION: In a goldfish catching apparatus 1 equipped with a water tank 6 to put goldfishes therein and one or two or more goldfish containers 7 and 8 for putting goldfishes caught out of the water tank 6 therein, the apparatus 1 is provided with goldfish container fixing means 20 and 21 for removably fixing the goldfish containers 7 and 8 on the bottom of the water tank 6. Since the goldfish containers 7 and 8 are fixed on the bottom of the water tank 6, the player is effectively prevented from catching goldfishes by an illegal means of catching the goldfishes in the water tank 6 by means of the goldfish containers 7 and 8.
