The modules of the shelving system comprise a bigger (1) and a smaller cubic element (2) and four brick-shaped elements (3, 4), which can be assembled by positioning several elements (1, 2, 3, 4) with the same dimensions of their edges beside or on top of each other. The sides of the bigger elements (1, 3, 4) match the dimensions of two combined smaller elements (2, 3, 4), facilitating a flexible use of the system. Projections located at the edges of one element can be engaged with recesses provided at the adjacent element.
