HYDROCARBON REMOVAL DEVICE FOR SHUTTING OFF EMISSION OF HYDROCARBON IN GAS REDUCED VIA BLOW-BY GAS REDUCER INTO AIR

PURPOSE: A hydrocarbon removal device is provided to prevent fuel evaporation gas introduced into an air hole of a suction system via a blow-by gas reducer from being emitted into the air. CONSTITUTION: A hydrocarbon removal device(7) comprises a cylindrical HC trap(8) adsorbing and removing hydrocarbon of fuel evaporation gas; a mat(9) covering the cylindrical outer peripheral surface to protect the HC trap; and a forming pipe(10) having flanges(10a) for receiving and pressing the HC trap covered with the mat. The forming pipe is installed in the outlet side of the suction hole. The hydrocarbon removal device is arranged in a suction hole to make hydrocarbon of fuel evaporation gas introduced to the outlet side of the suction hole adsorbed and removed to/from the HC trap when the hydrocarbon flows backward to the air cleaner side.
