FIELD: decorative and applied art, in particular, manufacture of artificial flowers from metal for decorating of interior, as well as for ritual services etc. SUBSTANCE: method involves cutting out flower parts from metal sheet; manually working flower parts to make resultant flower look like live flower; heating flower parts in furnace to temperature of 850-900 C; processing on anvil, with one end of metal rod forming flower stem being forged out on anvil to size of diameter 2 cm smaller than that of rod; cooling to temperature of 20-25 C; making blank for flower receptacle by cutting out star-shaped part with central opening; imparting shape of live leaves of flower receptacle to blank; putting it in hot state onto rod and fixing while metal is cooled; cutting out double ellipses with single central opening to form flower petals in the form of two double ellipses of similar size and two double ellipses of size smaller than above size; placing one large double ellipse in hot state by pressing from the top to impart shape of flower bud, and placing other large ellipse in diametrically opposite direction; providing same procedures with double ellipses of smaller size; providing blanks for leaves; welding them to leaf stem; welding leaf stems to one another and welding to rod.
