Antibodies to CD23 capable of binding to the CD23 (FCepsilonRII) type II molecule expressed on haematopoietic cells

Antibodies that bind to the CD23 (FCåRII) type II molecule are described. In particular, altered antibodies including antibodies which bind to the CD23 (FCåRII) type II molecule characterised by an affinity constant equal to or greater than 1x109 Ka Mol-1, the preparation of such antibodies, pharmaceutical compositions which contain such antibodies and their use in therapy particularly in the treatment of autoimmune and inflammatory disorders.
