FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: cutter bar has frame and chain drive mounted on frame. Cutting member are made in the form of trapezium-shaped plates arranged on chain drive. Cutting edges of cutting members are provided with notches. U-shaped shear members are rigidly and successively fixed on frame for passage of cutting members through openings between notches. During cutting procedure, stalk simultaneously rests upon shear member and notches. Stalk is thus prevented from being pushed out of cutting pair. EFFECT: simplified construction and increased efficiency in harvesting of stalk crops. 4 dwg |
