PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PET bottle with a handle manufactured by a biaxial stretching blow molding, which is excellent in safety and the handling property even when the bottle is a big container having a capacity of several liters. SOLUTION: The main body 1 of the bottle has a shape that a hollow part 3 is provided in a sunken state on the back part of the trunk of the body and a vertical protrusion 5 is provided on the center part of the bottom surface 4 of the hollow part. In the handle 10, a handle plate 11 is united between the upper and the lower end of a pair of assembled beams 12 arranged in a standing state and in parallel, and an engagement protrusion 17 with a cross-section of a nearly right triangle has a protrusive shape that one of the sides forming the right angle is projected nearly vertically from the opposing side face of the assembled beam and the other side is projected nearly vertically from the tip face of the assembled beam, and an inserting part in the bottom face of the hollow part around the vertical protrusion of the main body of the bottle, which is composed of parts of the assembled beams and the engagement protrusion, is provide in close vicinity to the corner parts formed by the opposing side faces and the tip faces of the pair of assembled beams.
