PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for selecting a communication network in at least two of terminal equipment in which data are exchanged in a first frequency band of a first communication network (e.g., cellular phone network) with subscription contract and in a second frequency band of a second communication network (e.g., Bluetooth(R) network) without subscription contract. SOLUTION: The method for selecting a communication network between the first communication network and the second communication network includes a step for estimating the distance between two of terminal equipment and a step for switching an operating frequency of each of the two of terminal equipment from the first frequency band to the second frequency band when the distance between the two of terminal equipment is shorter than a predetermined value R.
