PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire fixing metal fitting for an electric sliding door, by which a cost is reduced without preparing a special mounting bracket while the fixing works of a wire can be carried out even after assembly works, in which the electric sliding door is assembled to a car body, and which has excellent workability and can be operated even in space saving. SOLUTION: In the fixing metal fitting 10 for fixing the wire 9 transmitting driving force to the electric sliding door 8 for a car, the fixing metal fitting 10 has a slit section 14 formed in an opening width, in which the passage only of the wire 9 is permitted, extensively over a base end 13 from either one front end 12 of both opened ends 11 having an approximately U-shaped cross section while the opening width of the slit section 14 is formed in a width in which the passage of an engaging body 9a at the terminal of the wire 9 is prevented.
