The destacking device for stacks of frozen product blocks has at least two frames (1) in each of which is installed a lifting device (8) to receive and lift a stack, and with a destacking wedge(14) which is horizontally movable by a control unit and is for the separating of frozen blocks located one above the other. The frames each have an abutment (28) below the movement path of the destacking wedge for the part of the stack not being destacked. The destacking wedge is guided in a frame (13) which is movable in relation to the main frame.
