<p>The invention provides a terminal, method, system, and traffic scheduler, for scheduling traffic in a packet communication system. A required importance level (Ireq) will be used to decide on accepting or dropping of packets. When a packet is to be transmitted from a terminal, the terminal preferably compares an importance level included in the packet and the required importance level, and accepts the packet for transmitting if the importance level is greater than the required importance level, whereas, when the importance level of the packet is smaller than the required importance level, the packet is dropped.</p> |
