PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a viewfinder whereby the surface of liquid crystal or the surface of a protection cover of the liquid crystal can be cleaned without the need for opening the enclosure of the viewfinder to expose the inside. SOLUTION: The viewfinder 30 is provided with a cleaning mechanism 40 placed inside the enclosure for cleaning the surface of liquid crystal or the surface of the protection cover of the liquid crystal, the cleaning mechanism 40 is provided with: an operating lever 41 freely slidably inserted inside the enclosure; a link mechanism 51 turnably fixed to the operating lever 41; and cleaning members 49, 50 placed to the link mechanism 51, and in cleaning, the operating lever 41 is operated to drive the link mechanism 51, which slides the cleaning members 49, 50 while being pressed into contact with the surface of liquid crystal or the surface of the protection cover of the liquid crystal.
