摘要 <p>A frozen dessert composition is described that includes a starch hydrolysate having less then 5 % dextrose, about 20 to about 60 % maltose, about 5 to about 25 % maltotriose, and about 20 to about 60 % polysaccharides. The frozen dessert composition is resistant to heat shock and maintains good taste and texture characteristics upon long term storage of the composition.</p>
