PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start a wind mill at a low wind speed without reducing a rated output at a rated wind speed by offering simple construction permitting automatic change in the pitch angle of a blade when and after started. SOLUTION: In the horizontal propeller wind mill, a mounting portion 21 of the blade 2 is supported slidably to the radial direction of a rotor shaft 11 by a holder 3, a spring 5 is provided for drawing the blade 2 to the center of the rotor shaft 11, and a spiral guide groove 1 and a guide pin 6 are provided for guiding the blade 2 to be rotated around a blade axis Y when the blade 2 is moved to the radial direction of the rotor shaft 11.
