摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid differential gear device for transmitting rotating torque to the other side gear even when one side gear of a differential gear mechanism runs idle. SOLUTION: A planetary gear mechanism 7 is constituted of an internal gear 3, a sun gear 5 and a planetary gear 6. The differential gear mechanism 10 is constituted of a pinion gear 12 provided rotatably on the sun gear 5 via a supporting member 11 and a pair of side gears 13 arranged revolvingly on an axis L of revolution for meshing with the pinion gear 12. A multiplate friction generating mechanism 20 is provided between one end of the sun gear 5 and one side gear 13, and a multiplate friction generating mechanism 20' is provided between the other end of the sun gear 5 and the other side gear 13. The differential rotation of the side gears 13, 13 is limited by friction resistance generated by the friction generating mechanisms 20, 20' during differential rotation of the pair of side gears 13, 13.
