PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize machining chips produced in the finishing process of a cast iron product which does not have application other than to be used by blending in the raw material in casting the cast iron product. SOLUTION: Chips of the cast iron product are stored, as they are or after pulverized, in an air-permeable container such as a paper bag, or solidified by pressing or baked at 500-900°C. After that, the processed scraps are made a product as they are or pulverized or solidified to be the product as the deodorization material. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
