The invention is a power device for the transformation of low-grade heat sources into mechanical work by a process also creating a useful refrigeration effect. Refrigeration components provide heating and cooling to heat transfer fluid, while pumps direct the heat transfer fluid inside a closed loop to two collections of high pressure cylinders containing hydraulic fluid, sequentially providing heating and cooling, in alternating fashion, one of the collections being cooled while the other is being heated. The hydraulic flui d contained expands during a defined part of the binary cycle, and provides positive pressure to the hydraulic piston connected to the collection of high pressure cylinders, producing mechanical work.
