<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct liquid fuel cell system capable of making an air supply line to a cathode compact. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system comprises a housing 102, a fuel cell stack 110 arranged so that an air passage may penetrate perpendicularly in the housing 102, a first fan 140 which supplies the air between the housing 102 and an inlet port of the air passage 122.
