PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To send a liquid at a prescribed speed without entrained air bubbles even in the case of an extremely small quantity of processing liquid. SOLUTION: A passage 4 formed meanderingly in this micro fluid device Da has both ends opened to the atmosphere at an injection hole 7 and a discharge hole 8. The passage 4 has three heated and/or cooled region partsα,β,γ. The passage 4 is controlled at different temperatures respectively in each heated and/or cooled region part. A liquid A, for example, DNA, supplied from the injection hole 7 is moved in the passage 4 by differential pressure of a liquid B in the contact state with the liquid B, and passes the first, second and third heated and/or cooled region partsα,β,γsuccessively and repeatedly, thereby to be subjected to temperature control, and to generate a polymerase chain reaction (PCR).
