PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-fogging coating capable of forming a transparent anti-fogging coating film which has no streak of drops of water extremely hard to be conspicuous when the drops of water attaching to the coating film run and, simultaneously, excels in coating properties, anti-fogging properties, water resistance, heat resistance and the like, and an anti-fogging molded article and the like obtained by coating a molded article or the like with the anti-fogging coating. SOLUTION: The anti-fogging coating is obtained by carrying out the solution polymerization of a sum of 100 pts.wt. of 5-20 pts.wt. at least one kind from a monomer group (hereinafter referred to as group A) to be represented by chemical formula 1 (wherein n is an integer of≥4; and R<SB>1</SB>and R<SB>2</SB>are each H or a methyl group) and 5-15 pts.wt. at least one kind from a monomer group (hereinafter referred to as group B) having one or more alkali metal sulfonate structures in the molecule as the essential components, and 90-65 pts.wt. at least one kind from a water insoluble monomer group (hereinafter referred to as group C) copolymerizable with the group A and the group B in a solvent, and dissolving a solid content to be obtained by precipitation and deposition from the resulting polymer solution in a solvent.
