PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging material for a decorative panel, which can prevent damage of the decorative panel on its corners or the like even if the panel is heavy and is dropped in a packaged state. SOLUTION: The packaging material 1 is for packaging the square decorative panel 2 used as an inner/outer finishing material for construction, and comprises a packaging material body 3 made of corrugated board for packaging the decorative panel 2 by encircling it. On the parts of packaging material body 3 that correspond to respective corners of the decorative panel 2 upon encircling it with the packaging material body, corner support members 4, made of hooked plate-shaped corrugated boards that come in contact with the outer edge of the corners of the decorative panel 2, are arranged, respectively.
