PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a tube especially a gun barrel self-contraction divisionally and optimally by internal pressure caused by a liquid generated at the inside of the tube. SOLUTION: A first sealing device (3) is arranged in the end part of an arbor-shaped insert (2, 2', 2"), the sealing device has a seal packet (5) arranged on the seal seat (4) of the inserting body, a boundary is formed on the front side of the seal seat with a holding device (6) and the holding device has a screw jacket (7) which can be screwed on the insert and a ring-like intermediate part (8) which continues to the rear side of the jacket. The seal packet has an O-ring (10), a leather ring (11), a supporting ring (12) and a high-pressure seal (15) constituted of two partial rings (13, 14) which are held by the stepped part of the insert. When pressure is applied, one side of two partial rings is outward pressed against the inside wall of the tube (22) and the other side is pressed inward against the insert respectively along a conical contact surface (16).
