PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a terminal fitting to be inserted in a regular attitude without buckling a wire. SOLUTION: In this waterproof connector, an attitude correction member 45 is held movably between a tentative lock position and a regular lock position behind a rubber plug stopper 36 tightly disposed on the rear surface of a rubber plug 30. At the tentative lock position, the front surface of a base part 46 of the correction member 45 is separated from the rear surface of the plug stopper 36 so that a space 55 is formed between them, and buckle restriction walls 39 and 40 are formed extendedly into the space 55 on the rear surface of the plug stopper 36. At the tentative lock position, the attitude of a male terminal fitting 10 is corrected by fitting a body part 11 of the terminal fitting 10 into a terminal insertion hole 512, and a tab part 12 reaches a wire insertion hole 31 with the attitude corrected. The restriction walls 39 and 40 are disposed in the space 55 and hence the wire 14 comes into contact with them to restrict the buckle thereof. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
