PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interlocking block used for a water retentive pavement structure for increasing a water retentive capacity and easy in construction. SOLUTION: The interlocking block, whose upper surface and under surface are formed into a plane filling shape, is characterized by forming recessed parts 6a and 7a on at least one side surface of the interlocking block 1 so as to form clearance with an adjacent interlocking block 1' when laid in combination by filling a plurality of interlocking blocks 1 in one plane.
