RESIN COMPOSITION AND PULL-OPEN CAP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition used for a pull-open cap excellent in pull-open properties and ESCR (environmental stress cracking resistance), and a pull-open cap made of the resin composition.

SOLUTION: The resin composition for the pull-open cap comprises the components (A) and (B), where the content of the component (A) is 60-85 wt% and the content of the component (B) is 40-15 wt%, each based on 100 wt% of the total amount of the components (A) and (B). The component (A) is a high-pressure radical polymerization polyethylene having a melt flow rate of 10-30 g/10 min and a density of 910-930 kg/m3. The component (B) is an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer having a melt flow rate of 5-50 g/10 min and a density of 870-905 kg/m3.
