<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize printing having no phase shift by detecting even when a phase shift is generated in running paper in a rotary printing press for a box making machine for corrugated fiberboard and the like. <P>SOLUTION: A tip detector for detecting a tip of the running paper to be printed with a rotary printing press which is driven with a synchronous driver and an electric motor is provided to detect a phase shift of the running paper. Displacement for setting the phase and a front speed compensation and a front phase compensation in comparison with its square are simultaneously carried out to the electric motor for driving the rotary printing press to correct the phase shift so that a phase relation wherein the running paper is in specific synchronization with the rotary printing press is obtained at a time point for start of printing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
