A sizing sleeve has 3 to 50 spiral slots (2) to form segments (7) and allow continuous adjustment of internal diameter. The slots extend the full length of the sleeve and are surrounded at the exit end by a tension band to provide adjustment. Alternatively the adjustment can be provided by a ring sliding along a conical land at the exit. The adjustment can be performed by an actuator through a slide arrangement (4, 5). |
