PURPOSE: A heating type bath tub having water purifying and water softening functions is provided to absorb and remove submerged organic compounds by using a filter while forcedly circulating the water filled in the bath tub by using a pump and then soften and heat them to generate a bath-water of an appropriate temperature. CONSTITUTION: A pipe(3) leading to the inside of the bath tub(1) goes out of one side of the bath tub(1) and the other end of the pipe(3) comes into the other side of the bath tub(1) to enable the water in the bath tub(1) to circulate along the pipe(3). One or more filters(8,9) for purifying and softening water by filtering circulating submerged impurities are disposed in the pipe(3) to allow the water circulating along the pipe(3) to be purified and softened while passing through the filters(8,9).
