PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet which does not undergo a change in external appearance such as yellowing and maintains sufficient adhesive power without causing insufficient adhesion or peeling even when left standing in a high-temperature high-humidity environment for a long time after stuck to an adherend, especially to a glass plate, is easily peeled after left standing for a long time without causing staining on a glass surface due to paste remaining on peeling, and prevents glass from scattering; and a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition used therefor. SOLUTION: The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition contains (A) 100 pts.wt. acrylic copolymer prepared from polymerizable components which at least contain (a) 1.3-10 wt.% hydroxy-group-containing vinyl monomer and (b) 0.05-1.0 wt% carboxy-group-containing vinyl monomer and of which at least 50 wt.% comprises acrylic monomers and (B) 0.05-2.0 pts.wt. isocyanate-group-containing silane compound.
