The housing (2) comprises a body (4) with a circular opening (6) at one end (8), and a cover (16) to close and seal it. The cover engages with the body using radial male sectors (20) that slide into grooves (10) round the opening and radial male sectors (14) on the body that engage female grooves (26) in the cover, to form a bayonet joint assembly. The cover is locked and unlocked by axially-mobile tongues (24) on the cover between the male sectors, fitting between sectors on the body to prevent rotation, and urged into their locking position by elastic members (34).
