The valve has a vane (36) which is pivotally coupled to a chamber coupled between the engine and a radiator. A drive assembly is operatively coupled to the vane for varying the position of the vane within the chamber for controlling the amount of fluid flow between the radiator and the engine in response to changes in the fluid temperature.
