PURPOSE: A bathroom type air conditioner and a method for installing the same are provided to secure safety by preventing slipperiness of a floor due to condensed water. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner includes an air conditioner main body(20) including a casing(21) having an inlet(24) and outlets(26) formed on a bottom thereof, an exhaust port(28) formed on a side thereof, and bolt coupling parts allowing foundation bolts(19) having one ends fixed to a ceiling(12) of a bathroom(10) to be coupled thereto, refrigerating cycle components stored and installed in the casing, and a fan placed in the casing to discharge air processed by the refrigerating cycle components through the outlets; a connecting duct(41) having one end connected with the exhaust port and the other end connected with a main exhaust channel(11) of a building in which the bathroom is formed; and a condensed water discharge tube(43) extended downward from the air conditioner main body along a wall of the bathroom, and connected with a water tank(17) of a toilet stool(15). |
