PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure sensor having a proper seal property and a method for manufacturing the same, in which the work for sealing a terminal pin can be performed at a good working efficiency. SOLUTION: This relates to the method for manufacturing the pressure sensor including a connector housing 30 having a pressure receiving surface 32 on which the terminal pin 10 and a pressure sensing element 20 are arranged and a sensor housing for inserting the connector housing 30. The pressure receiving surface 32 of the connector housing 30 has a recessed part 120 which is formed by inwardly recessing the surroundings of the terminal pin 10, and to which a seal agent 12 is provided. In providing the seal agent 12, a molding seal agent consisting of a thermoplastic adhesive is molded in advance, and the molding seal agent is inserted and disposed into the recessed part 120. Thereafter, the molding seal agent is heated and melted so as to flow in the recessed part 120, is arranged so as to cover the spacing generated in the circumference of the terminal pin 10, and is then solidified.
