PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document presentation apparatus for clearly imaging a page without damaging the seam of a book and without causing any distortion. SOLUTION: A first mirror frame 31 and a second mirror frame 32 whose mirror surfaces oppose in parallel with each other are rotatably supported on a plate 21. A bundle of pages to be imaged is placed on the plate 21 with an edge of the first mirror frame 31 abutted on the seam of the opened book, and the other bundle of pages is inclined at not greater than 90°and supported by the first mirror frame 31. An opened page on the plate 21 is reflected on a first mirror 41 and a reflection image thereof is reflected on a second mirror 42, and a reflection image of the second mirror 42 is imaged with a camera 13.
