<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhibition and sale system in which the exhibition area of merchandise is saved, exhibition performance for a size with excellence higher than an actual object or the like is made possible, a function enabling a customer himself/herself to confirm detailed information regarding the exhibition merchandise is provided, the customer himself/herself places orders for the exhibition merchandise in an exhibition place, and adjustment is performed in a POS device on the basis of the information. <P>SOLUTION: The exhibition and sale system is provided with a merchandise information exhibition terminal 101, a camera 102, a projector 102, a portable terminal 201, and a screen 501 for virtually exhibiting the merchandise. An indicated place and an indicated operation by beam light 801 are read by the camera 102 on the screen 501, recognition and analysis are performed by the merchandise information exhibition terminal 101, and thus the order information of the merchandise is registered.
