<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for economically producing collagen peptide and calcium apatite by a simple process with prevailing equipments using no acid-proof material. <P>SOLUTION: The collagen peptide is produced by treating a scale material with a protease without deliming, wherein, if necessary, the scale material is pretreated by washing, drying and mechanically dry or wet grinding to obtain flocculate or powder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
