DIELECTRIC RESONATOR, DIELECTRIC FILTER, DIELECTRIC DUPLEXER, AND COMMUNICATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact dielectric resonator which realizes a high no-load Q (Qu) by forming an electrode of an oxide superconductor on the surface of the dielectric; and to provide a dielectric filter, a dielectric duplexer, and a communication device using the resonator. SOLUTION: The dielectric resonator forms an oxide superconductor electrode on the surface of the dielectric. A Ba (Mg, Ma)O3(where Ma is a metallic pentad other than Ta as simple substance) dielectric is desirable. Either of the two oxide superconductors is desirable: a Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O group (including one which part of Bi is replaced with Pb) or Tl-Ba-Ca-Cu-O group. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
