PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To comparatively easily change attribute information of a file. SOLUTION: A large number of files are stored in a data file group 21. Files showing definition of attributes of a large number of the files stored in the data file group 21 are stored in an attribute definition file group 22, and files showing detailed contents of the attributes are stored in an attribute content file group 23. Link information showing places of the file groups 21, 22, 23 and places of the files stored in the file groups 21, 22, 23 is stored in a link file 10. The link file 10 is stored in a relational database 2. Because the attributes are not stored in the relational database 2, the attributes can be comparatively easily changed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
