PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rooftop greening water storage structure for efficiently supplying water required for growing plants in a rooftop greening method to be applied to various buildings in a city. SOLUTION: This rooftop greening water storage structure is such that a fabric 5 for water storage preparation is laid on the rooftop floor of a building 2 so as to direct the recessed parts of the fabric toward the upper side and a water barrier sheet 3 is laid on the upper side of the fabric 5 for water storage preparation. Water storage space 4 is formed by sinking the water barrier sheet 3 into the recessed parts of the fabric 5 for water storage preparation through spreading vegetation soil 6 all over the water barrier sheet 3. As a result of this, it is possible to easily form the water storage space 4 suitable for arbitrary water storage capacity and freely decide both a water storage position and water storage volume.
