<p>An inspection device for a filter cigarette, comprising a closed pad (60) and a suction pad (80) for holding a filter cigarette (FC) at an inspected position when the filter cigarette (FC) is fed along a transfer route in a filter mounting machine, a pressure detector (94) for detecting the magnitude of a negative pressure generated in the filter cigarette (FC) when air in the filter cigarette (FC) is sucked through the suction pad (80) in the state of the filter cigarette (FC) held between the closed pad (60) and the suction pad (80), and a controller (108) for determining, based on an output from the pressure detector (94), whether the defective adhesion of chip paper is present or not in the filter cigarette (FC).</p> |
