PURPOSE: A tension mask frame assembly is provided to achieve improved howling characteristics by adjusting the thermal compensation and tension force applied to the tension mask. CONSTITUTION: A tension mask frame assembly comprises a first support member(121) and a second support member(122) spaced apart from each other; a first strength member(123) and a second strength member(124) arranged at ends of the first and second support members, respectively, so as to support the first and second support members; a tension mask(100) mounted to apply tension forces to the first and second support members, wherein the tension mask has a plurality of electron beam passing holes; and a plurality of correction members(130) mounted on ends of the first and second support members. The correction members permit the tension force being applied to the tension mask after a thermal process to be distributed in such a manner that the center of the distribution is high and the peripheral part of the distribution is low.
