<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device which enables users to obtain favorite outputs also at the time of direct printing by holding a page format of defaults for each user beforehand, specifying the user at the time of direct printing and applying a set default value. <P>SOLUTION: The image formation device which layouts to output electronic document data inputted from an external device is equipped with a storage means for storing page format information of defaults for each user, a user identifying means for specifying the user who executes a printing instruction, and an applying means for applying page format information stored for each user to documents.
