PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lead storage cell capable of restraining full-off of a softened active material by charging and discharging, preventing an internal short-circuiting at a bottom part of an electrode plate group and preventing stratification of an electrolyte. SOLUTION: A group of electrodes 4A is structured by using a positive electrode plate 1, a negative electrode plate 2, a pouched separator 5 and a tabular separator 3 with a glass mat. The pouched separator 5 is arranged to cover a lower part of the positive electrode plate 1.
